ACH Women's Auxiliary
Our Ladies' Auxiliary has been in existence for over 50 years, and meets the first Tuesday of each month. This dedicated group serves our residents in a variety of ways and provide those tangible extras that make ACH a state-of-the-art facility. These volunteers generate both financial and moral support. They also host our gift shop in the main lobby, which is full of handmade and donated items. All the proceeds from the shop are used to support the special projects and needs of ACH.
About us
Artesia Christian Home Auxiliary has been a very helpful organization dedicated to raising support both financial and hands on volunteering for the Residents at Artesia Christian Home.
The Auxiliary meets every other month on the First Tuesday of the Month at 1:30 p.m. at 1st Artesia CRC in the old social hall.
Please come and join us if you are interested in supporting the efforts of this group. We are a fun and lively group and provide support to the organization and each other.
We also manage a gift shop at the entrance of the facility. All the proceeds go to the Auxiliary which then benefits the residents.
The Auxiliary hold a Hostess Dinner in March, for family friends and members of the Artesia Christian Home society. There is always a specific project in mind to raise funds. They send out a Letter in June asking for financial assistance toward a designated project to benefit the lives of the residents. They also provide a Christmas Tea for residents and provide volunteers to drive for the Monthly Outings to the supportive churches. They provide volunteers for resident coffee time and also for many activities going on with the residents and staff. One of their favorite activities is decorating the facility for Christmas.
This group of people are very essential to the services Artesia Christian Home can supply for the facility as a whole.
Some of the projects they have completed include;
- Two eight seated passenger buses for residents going on outings and short trips.
- Over bed tables for the residents in SNF.
- Furnished the remodel of the SNF and Covenant Center dining rooms.
- Helped with the completion of the Memory Care and Assisted Living updates.
There are so many extras they have been able to supply over the years and we are so thankful for them and all of their supporters.
