As a non profit and Continuing Care Retirement Community, we put our profits back into our community for the betterment of all. From renovating and beautifying our buildings and grounds to modernizing our care methods to enhancing our programming to serve the ever changing needs of our residents, we are constantly improving life here at ACH.

  • Services

    All Utilities Included: All utilities, except phone and Internet, are included in the living expenses, which means you have only one bill to pay each month, and no surprises.


    Dining: In each of our communities ACH offers a dining room.  In Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing there are views of our lovely patio and gardens. Enjoy three meals daily, featuring a wide variety food that’s fresh, delicious and healthy. We’ll soon be renovating our Assisted Living dining room.


    Comprehensive Wellness & Activities Program: Staying mobile, steady and strong is at the top of everyone’s list. ACH offers a well-rounded wellness program with opportunities for brain fitness, physical fitness, emotional fitness and even spiritual fitness. Our activities include group walks, excursions, fitness seminars, daily games and activities, and much more.  


    Fitness classes are available throughout the week with a high level of participation by our residents.

    Therapy Room - We have therapy rooms in both assisted living and skilled nursing.  There are physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech pathologist to meet the needs of our residents. 

  • Outdoor Gardens

    Rose Garden - Sit under the pergola on the glider and enjoy the relaxing scent of fresh, blooming roses.


    Patio areas - Enjoy time out on one of our many outdoor patio areas. 


    Growing Garden -  Watch our garden grow in assisted living off of the main dining room.  Throughout the year enjoy our giant sunflowers, tulip patch, corn, tomatoes, strawberries and more. 


    Memory Care backyard - Enjoy walks in the beautiful park like backyard, sit under the purgola or by the water fountain.  Our memory care backyard is as beautiful as ever providing a wonderful area to sit, have a cup of coffee, and visit. 

  • Indoor Areas

    Living Room - Assisted Living hosts a beautiful living room where residents and volunteers can play the piano or organ and sing hymns as well as play board games and put together puzzels.


    Library - Come visit our library and check out a book or two.  You can sit and relax in this cozy little nook and enjoy the quiet or gather for a conversation.


    Parlor - BINGO is often heard coming from our parlor several times a week.  This room is a great place for meeting or hosting a small party. It is available for a small rental fee through our main business office.  It also has a pool table for those that want to que up. 


    Lounge - We host a wide array of activities from excersise classes and seminars for our residents to all staff meeting for our employees. 


    Skilled Nursing Aviaries - Stop by and watch our birds as they entertain our visitors and residents.


    Board Room  - Our board room is a source for meetings and traing for our volunteers and staff. 


    Beauty Shop - We want all of our residents to feel great about how they look.  Each of our communities has their own hair salon.  Just steps away from your room, you can have your hair done right inside the community.


    Auxiliary Gift Shop - Our volunteer auxiliary gift shop is a great place to find a gift for a friend or family member.  With so much to choose from, your sure to find something to meet your gift giving needs.
