The general purpose of the Social Services Intern is to gain professional experience that compliment your educational studies while providing support and assistance to the Social Services Department in meeting the psychosocial and emotional needs of the facility's residents in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Social Services Interns play a crucial role in enhancing the overall well-being and quality of life for residents living in our facility.

Interns will gain experience and knowledge in assessments, individualized care planning, providing support to residents and family members, clinical documentation and reporting, discharge planning, insurance and authorizations, resident advocacy, and professional development.
