We support and promote dignity by emphasizing assistance in a variety of interest, abilities and needs. We strongly believe in social model services & programming that include all activities of life at whatever level is possible or desired. Our role is not to "do for" but to "assist with".

Our Waiting List

Due to limited space we do work from a wait list. A one time non-refundable fee of $250 is required to place your name on our Assisted Living wait list. The list consists of a member & non-member category. Upon admission, there will be a one time entrance fee of $750 for members and $1,500 for non-members.We give priority to our members and supporters.

 

Our Services

We strive in giving residents the individualized services they need, we provide the following  

  • Manage and administer all medications including ordering or refilling 
  • Assist with doctor appointments, prepare paperwork, notify family, set up transportation if family is not available
  • Regular on-going observation, daily blood pressure, blood sugar checks or breathing treatments 
  • Bathing, grooming, clothing assistance
  • Weekly personal laundering
  • Weekly house keeping of units
  • Three healthy, well balanced meals a day plus snacks throughout the day
  • Cable TV, Phone and Internet services

We work with a Level of Care point system determined by a licensed nurse after assessment 

 

Our Activity Program

There is never a dull moment at ACH, we have everything from bingo, Wii games, to pet therapy. We take weekly trips to the supermarket as well as monthly outings to our supporting churches for a nice meal. We love to explore our city by visiting surrounding parks, malls, restaurants, beaches, and even theme parks. We also love to host live entertainment from schools, churches, professional dancers, singers, actors, and musicians. Whatever the resident's individual interests, strengths or weaknesses are, we make sure we can come up with something fun for everyone!

 

Our Fitness & Balance Training

We offer dynamic small group strength and balance classes designed by our own physical therapist.  Sessions aim to improve balance and strength, inspire community, and educate our residents.  These sessions are offered twice weekly on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.  Individual physical thereapy is also available and may be covered by Medicare.  Feel free to visit limberlifept.com for more information.

Our Beauty/Barber shop

Open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00p.m. Service include, hair cuts, perms, tints, teases, hair treatments, manicures & pedicures. Full List Here 

 

Our Ladies auxiliary

Has been in existence for over 50 years, they usually meet the first Tuesday of each month. They serve our residents in a variety of ways and provide the tangible extras that make ACH a state of the art facility. These volunteers generate both financial and moral support. They host our gift shop located in the main lobby full of handmade and donated items, all the proceeds are used to support special projects and needs of ACH.
