What is the "C.A.R.E. Fund"?

It is a special fund set aside to help offset the financial deficit that the Artesia Christian Home incurs when residents are unable to cover the entire cost of service.

With your help we can continue

Why is this "C.A.R.E. Fund" necessary?

This fund is necessary because some of our residents depend on either Medi-Cal or SSI Programs to pay for their care at ACH. These state run programs do not pay the full cost of services and care.

The SSI Program which is used in the Residential Facility pays less than half the cost of services. The Medi-Cal Program which is used in the Skilled Nursing Facility pays 85% of the cost of services.

How is the "C.A.R.E. Fund" supported?

The C.A.R.E. Fund is supported through special offerings from supporting churches, donations from families and friends specified for the “ C.A.R.E. Fund” and Artesia Christian Home endowment Fund earnings.

How can YOU help?

You may donate through your church offerings designated for the Artesia Christian Home.

You may designate your donation in honor or in memory of a loved one to the “C.A.R.E. Fund” on the envelopes provided along with our Messenger.

We also accept charitable donations form families, estates and corporations that designate their gifts specifically for the “ C.A.R.E. Fund”. Artesia Christian Home is a member of the Barnabas Foundation. This non-profit organization can help you with designing or reviewing your estate planning needs.
